11pm? – at The Venetian

Is it day or night? – winter or summer?

The painted blue sky ceiling above the canal inside fabulous hotel The Venetian (where I got to stay for a week in Vegas) can play with your mind at 11pm …or was that 11am …very Vegas… makes you want to turn around and go back for some more late-night action on The Strip. I did not realize the no clocks anywhere was true – it is.

*When the film ‘Life Of Brian’ came out on cinema release screening before it was what appeared an ordinary travelogue. It was called “Away From it All”, and was approx 10 minutes and was narrated be Niel Farquar-Bennet (John Cleese). In Venice things started to get a bit manic and stuff and all of the voice started getting a bit manic and the narration was ranting on about ‘More fucking gondolas’.
